This is a possible cover for "Ages of Aenya". The piece beautifully captures the essence of the story, both its fantasy and Sci-Fi aspects. The city itself has a Roman/Egyptian feel, which is appropriate given its role in the story. Hedonia is the most powerful city in the world, but as its name suggests, it is also a place of corruption, hubris and hypocrisy. Thelana, by contrast, represents innocents and nature. She is literally coming upon civilization and all that entails. Notice the fossilized golem at her feet, something that plays a larger role later in the story, as does the fiery meteor in the background.

Again, I have to thank the superb Alexey Lipatov for helping me realize this cover. The quality of the cover, I believe, should match the writing within. 'Aenya' has been a labor of love for me for fourteen years and it will, I believe, someday sit neatly beside Herbert's "Dune", Burroughs' "Barsoom" and other great works of great Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
